The IStress module finds an optimal intrinsic stress profile for your sample for a given contact situation. Simply define your sample material structure and for which part(s) of the system the optimal intrinsic stress profile should be evaluated. Afterwards define the contact conditions for which the stress profile should be optimized. After a two phase optimization the software will show you the optimal stress profile and a comparison view between the original stress state and the one with the optimal stress profile.
